Good Morning! Since the Resort ‘08 Catalog is landing in homes ( I know this because my mom called from Cape Cod to rave about it) I thought I’d post some pics from behind the scenes on the shoot. Enjoy!
Now, here at Lilly Pulitzer, we know a thing or two about eccentric people in Florida (we were kind of started by one)… When I found this online today I knew I had to share.
This man built a castle of coral in his yard, AT NIGHT so no one could see. The hunks of coral are too heavy for the normal man to lift so it seems this is sort of a mystery. No joke, the article actually says his neighbors claim he “levitated the blocks, some weighing 30 tons”. Read more here.
Just finished a movie with the bf, and thought I would share this with you all. I remembered that I saw this on SwissMiss blog about a month ago- she finds the coolest stuff! I’ve always wondered what to do with those extra tabs once I open up my DVDs from Netflix ; )

Hi all! Just checking in from the studio on the West Side in NYC. We’re finishing up the Summer Catalog today. Make sure you’re on the mailing list for this one. The clothes are so fab the models are begging to take them home!!!
We kicked off our 50th Jubilee celebration last night at Parsons New School of Design in NYC. We had over 700 rsvps- yikes! The exhibit showcased our vintage retrospective collection that is full of Lilly originals that are to-die-for. The whole evening was incredible. If you want to be a part of this nationwide party be sure to stay tuned so you don’t get left off the guest list!!

Just wrapping up the last day of shooting in sunny Miami Beach. The Summer 2009 photo shoot was amazing!! We did have a close encounter in the hotel with a Lilly Lover who attacked us in the elevator when we were bringing the racks down… nothing a little neosporin couldn’t cure.
Here’s a sneak peak of the jeep on the beach- you didn’t actually think I’d post a pic where you could see the clothes did you? haha. They’ll be hitting stores in April, maybe I’ll post a better sneak later this week…
