Introducing…our Interns

Posted on June 13, 2014 in More Fun by | 2 comments

Meet our fantastic Summer 2014 class of interns, or Pinkterns as we lovingly say at the Pink Palace. We’re so excited to have them, their enthusiasm and their love of Lilly here. Each one brings so much to their departments and we can’t wait to see all the hard work they’ll do (and fun they’ll have). Now, the Pinkterns…

First thought after hearing that I was going to be a Lilly intern this summer was: “I was super, super excited! Being able to design for a company that you love is truly an amazing experience.”

When not at Lilly, I like to… relax, go to the beach and hangout with my favorite guy in the world — my dog, Mocha.

Andrea Conte Lilly Pulitzer

First fell in love with Lilly… when I was in seventh grade. My sister came home from the King of Prussia mall with a Lilly Pulitzer swimsuit in an adorable lemon print. I ended up stealing the swimsuit from my sister, and it now lives in my closet … sometimes I almost forget that it was hers to begin with!

When not at Lilly, I like to… play field hockey, try smoothie recipes from Pinterest, and go to the shore.

Kendell Lilly Pulitzer

Favorite Lilly Summer piece: Skipper Popover in She She Shells, but I have 7 of them!

Most exciting thing I’ve done thus far was watching the merchandising and design teams working side by side to assort the line for the Summer 2015 season and being able to give my opinion, too!

Most exciting thing I’ve worked on so far is getting on Lilly’s social media accounts! I love being able to interact with Lilly Lovers out there. It’s so fun seeing how you style your Delia shift or your favorite pair of Callahans, and find out why you love Lilly (say hi with #SummerInLilly).

I think it would be cool if you shared their social media with us (if they felt comfortable) for a more #behindthescenes look.
