We are a little over a week from opening our doors at our newest retail location, Lilly Pulitzer Towson Town Center!  The print designers are at the store right now getting her all pretty, printed & painted & you can follow the store’s transformation on Instagram!  Our store managers always talk about how much they love their customers so we like to help them get to know you even before the store opens.  Here are some fun things you should know about our Lilly-loving management team & what they’re looking forward to about bringing Lilly to Baltimore, Maryland…

Meet Jillian Hogan!
I’m a true Maryland girl- born and raised in Towson! I grew up with my mom, younger brother, our multiple dogs, and a very close-knit family nearby. I studied Psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park. My favorite part of college was being a member of the Women’s Crew team. There is nothing like being out on the water and I had an incredible time traveling with my team and competing in regattas up and down the east coast. After college, I spent some time living in Boston. Although I absolutely loved it there, I knew I was meant to come back home. I have been in retail for over five years now and I am so lucky to have recently landed my dream job with Lilly. I just moved into a new apartment in Towson and my roommate and I are having a great time really making it our own. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, friends, and boyfriend, going to the beach, traveling, shopping, and learning how to golf. My absolute favorite thing in the world is my three year old rescue cat, Lily (obviously named after my favorite brand!)

I have always loved the preppy, bright style, but my Lilly obsession started in high school. I went to one of the local all-girls private schools and Lilly really was a way of life for us. My friends and I lived in pearls, bows, and anything pink and green. My bedroom was Lilly-inspired, with bright pink walls and colorful palm trees all over my sheets. I remember saving up to buy Lilly dresses for special events and how excited I would be to bring each new piece home. When I learned that Lilly was coming to Maryland and opening in MY mall (!!), I just knew I had to work there. I am so thrilled to now be a part of the Lilly family! We have built an incredible team and we have been working so hard to get the store ready. It’s been so exciting to watch everything come together and I can’t wait to see the town’s response when we finally get to open our doors!

Meet Meredith Pickering
I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Needless to say, I love all things beach- the smell of the ocean, sand in your shoes, boats and everything in between. I started dancing at a very young age- you could say I was born with my dancing shoes on! I spent the summers swimming for my community team and lazing on the beach. My passion for fashion began as a little girl when I would only wear dresses and matching shoes. When it came time for college, I surprisingly fell in love with a school nowhere near the water. I headed off to Radford University to study fashion merchandising and thus begins my Lilly story….

I was introduced to this colorfully clad lifestyle during my internship. Of course I had known about Lilly for years but not ’till accepting an internship with my hometown signature store, Ocean Palm, did I grasp what Lilly Pulitzer was really all about. After graduation, I came back to Ocean Palm to manage the newly opened Williamsburg location. I have since spent the past two years falling head over heels for the brand and couldn’t think of a better place to continue the next chapter if my Lilly story than in Towson, Maryland!

Every Lilly store is unique- what do you think is going to make the Towson Town Center store so special?
The Towson store is going to be so special because the community really has a strong Lilly fan base and this opening is something we have anxiously been awaiting for a long time. Marylanders have a lot of state pride and the store is going to reflect that. Just as Lilly is hidden in all of our prints, our Towson location is going to have tastes of our very unique town hidden throughout.

Tell us about all the goings-on in Baltimore that will require Lilly dressing.
Towson is home to a number of high schools and colleges, and we are so excited to help them celebrate all of their big events- dances, homecoming, graduation…and so much more. Of course we can’t forget about Preakness!

What are you most excited to watch “come to life” during the store build out this week?
Where to start?! There’s been such fun and excitement during every step of the opening process! We definitely think we are most excited to watch the print team turn these four white walls into a colorful Lilly land that will really bring all the best of Maryland to life. We know Lilly Lovers of all ages are absolutely going to adore it!

When our doors open next Wednesday, we guarantee…
We are sure that anything in the “You Gotta Regatta” print will fly off the shelves! The entire fall collection is covet-worthy, but we really think our customers will flock to “Hollycock Pocket Full of Posies.” We absolutely cannot wait for the unveiling of the Maryland state print Murfee during our Grand Opening weekend! Everyone will want to look chic in pink and green rocking their undeniable state pride!

Party people are going to love Towson. If people want to host an event at your store, what do they need to know?
They will need to know that Lilly loves getting involved in the community…any excuse to give back, look good, and have a fabulous time- we’re all in! We’re already prepping for our first few fall events and we are always looking to fill our social calendar with colorful celebrations so be sure to reach out to us if you want to party too! The party has arrived at Towson Town Center and we hope our Lilly Lovers are ready to have some fun! We are set to make a splash with our August 8th store opening and we are going to keep the good times rolling through our Grand Opening weekend on August 25th & 26th! It’s not a party without sweet treats, giveaways, great music, and gorgeous fashion! We will have all of that and more and our team is ready to bring Lilly home to Maryland!
