The Pink Boulevard team was just with us here at the Pink Palace last week buying for Spring of 2012.  While they worked to bring their customers Lilly for the next Spring season, we got the scoop on Pink Boulevard & what sets them apart!

Come find us!

A little bit about them… Pink Boulevard opened in April 2007 by owner, Kelsey Nichols. At the time of opening, Kelsey was a recent Clemson University graduate and was just 22 years old!  Her long-time love of Lilly and her mom’s experience and passion for being a boutique owner, gave Kelsey the confidence to go headlong into the world of retail and become a small business owner herself.  Just 4 years (and a Lillyfied wedding!) later, the store has been a great addition to the Freshfields Village (located at the Crossroads of Johns Island, Kiawah and Seabrook Island) where Kelsey describes her shop as the Cheers of retail.  They adore their customers and know [just about!] everyone’s name that walks in their door!

Their favorite product from the Fall ’11 delivery is… It is certainly hard to choose!! Of course we love the Whitaker, but the Fannie is super cute too! Oh and we can’t forget the Kelsi…It’s all FABULOUS!

A favorite customer story… Last Christmas we had a Lilly Pulitzer Beach Cruiser giveaway contest. One of our favorites families, Kristi and Rebecca Beeks, won the bike and it was so fun to see how excited Rebecca was to receive her Lilly Beach Cruiser!  The Beeks love living the Lilly Lifestyle and the bike just completed their collection!

We are looking forward to…  the upcoming Fall festival held in the Freshfields Village (the first weekend of  October) because it gives customers another reason to come pop by and say hello (which they always do!) and have some fun at the same time!!

The thing we love the most is... sharing our love of Lilly with all of our customers.  We love our customers so much and we wouldn’t be where we are if it weren’t for them!  Being a part of the Freshfields Village has been fabulous as well and we love that our customers will often just stop in to say hello!

I’m a junior at Presbyterian College wanting to open a Lilly Pulitzer boutique of my own some day. Reading this article gave me a lot of confidence seeing that Kelsey was only 22 when she opened her store! My roommate lives in Johns Island so hopefully I’ll come visit sometime soon!
