We had a blow out BASH at the Oceana Hamptons Splash event this past Saturday night (did you see the pics!?) We took over Margie & Michael Loeb’s beautiful Southampton home with over 400 guests. We know how to throw a party having learned from the quintessential entertainer, Lilly Pulitzer herself! Didn’t get to join in on the fun? Be in the know and read on!
We started off the evening with an intro from Ted Danson. Throughout the party, Ted mingled with guests and signed his new book (autograph, check!) and shared a wealth of information on how to help save some of our favorite sea creatures!! Side note, all Lilly Lovers are indebted to these sea creatures…what would our prints be without them?! Additional fun celebs and social included the super dreamy Adrian Grenier, and his band/entourage the Honey Brothers. Oceana Chair Sue Rockefellar was also on site and looked dashing in our navy Reeve dress, Just a Little Knotty Wedge & navy clutch!
On arrival, guests were ushered onto the red carpet a to pose in front of the Lilly Pulitzer & Oceana step & repeat (I was dying for a photo op with Adrian, but no such luck!). Guests entered a backyard Lilly Wonderland complete with poolside cocktail service, a rockin’ DJ, and yummy treats being passed by servers wearing Lilly ties. Attendees socialized around Lilly topped tables and relaxed on chairs & lounges with “Fallin’ in Love” pillows.
No guest left empty handed thanks to our colorful Lilly gift bags…market totes, picture frames, notebooks, a sneak preview of the Fall catalog and more! Lots of Lilly was spotted on the red carpet…top looks for the night were Mary Kate, Reeve, Marisa and Bowen Dresses. Best of all, our talented print designers were on site painting canvas masterpieces from scratch! The paintings were entered into the silent auction, but there was nothing silent about it! All we could hear was ooohhhhhs & ahhhhhhhhs from bidders!
And then, the grand finale (drum roll, please!)…an awesome performance by Adrian Grenier (who is just oh so adorable!) and the Honey Brothers. The Lilly crowd went WILD and spent the rest of the night dancing around the pool and beach bonfire.
This event was truly a night to remember, and all for a good cause! We are already starting to plan next year’s event…can we top our Hampton’s Splash? Guess you will have to wait and see!
