All week long, we’re celebrating our most favorite color….which OF COURSE is PINK! We do have love affairs with other colors but it’s safe to say pink is our most “committed relationship.” So now you’re thinking, doesn’t Lilly celebrate pink every day? Well obviously we do. But it’s not just the heart shaped holiday around the corner prompting us to celebrate pink even more this week- actually it’s the recognition our good friends at Pantone gave pink when they announced the selection of Honeysuckle Pink as the 2011 Color of the Year. We couldn’t be more thrilled that they are telling the world what we’ve known for years; the color pink is known to lift spirits, instill confidence and even elevate our psyche. And Honeysuckle Pink just happens to bear a veeeery close resemblance to one of our longtime favorites, Hotty Pink.

Oh, and yes it is true, we DO work in a pink building. We’re literally surrounding ourselves in pink and we feel pretty happy, confident, powerful and courageous every day!
