I love the holidays. I mean, love love love. I love the smell of the tree, how the lights make you look like you have a glow…oh wait, maybe that’s the champagne!
Every year I have the print team to my house for a very fancy and fun dinner party to celebrate all the hard work we do. It was a VERY cold and slightly snowy night last week that everyone came over. The fire was blazing and I made…champagne punch! Delicious and deadly. My daughter Sabrina was such a doll, she took everyone’s coat, poured them punch (which is now wall to wall in the bar but who cares, just a little sticky!), passed hors d’ouevres and TOOK PICTURES. She is 8 but clearly knows how to take care of her mother!
I had the table set for 14 with presents for everyone! Have you heard of a Jack Corner Pie? It’s when you wrap a present and attach it to a long ribbon, wind it around the table and have the other end attached to your place card. So the table was full of goodies and so many candles it looked like it might ignite. I just want to spoil the print team so much because I adore them more than words can say. We are like a family and we laugh and hug through everything together! Please note…since I didn’t have a date sweet Abraham was kind enough to step in. He is SO CUTE! Lucky me!
A yummy salad, a chicken and artichoke casserole and an ENOURMOUS chocolate cake later…and all we have to show for it is happy memories and these funny Polaroid’s. Hope you are having some very cheery parties with everyone you love. Sending tons of happiness from the print studio…Happy New Year!
