Domino Is Done For??

It was a sad day indeed when we found out yesterday that the March issue of Domino Magazine will be its last. We don’t get down very often here in the Pink Palace but today we’re boo hooing over the closing of this inspiring design mag. In a NY Times interview with the editor, she explained, “We tried to create a marriage between the beautiful image magazines and the useful service magazines”. “Editorially, we did what we set out to do, and in this economy, sadly, that’s not enough.”

Sad indeed. You’ll be missed.

Horrid, right!? I am keeping my fingers crossed that the mag is just on hiatus like Lilly was for nearly a decade, then they’ll be back and better than ever! Can we wait that long!??? Chin up. Xoxo-BLC

I was so sad to hear of this! I loved getting inspiration from Domino’s beautifully styled pages. I work for a magazine and it hurts to see great ones having to close. In other news, I had a Lilly Jeep spotting at the PGA Show. I will have to pass along a photo.
